Jaehyun will be attending Prada's show for their men's collection of Spring/Summer 2023 at Milan Fashion Week

With K-pop pretty much taking over the globe, it was just a matter of time before it started entering other fields. The K-pop fan culture is also an international phenomenon that has non-fans often surprised by the loyalty between fans and idols. This in turn has strengthened artists’ impact and influence from fans selling out brands that sponsor them to tuning in to non-K-pop events just to see their faves. And now Milan Fashion Week is being graced by Prada’s face -- NCT 127’s Jaehyun.

Fashion week is also a pretty exciting time for K-pop fans from GOT7’s Mark Tuan becoming a regular to Blackpink’s Lisa, KARD’s BM and Pentagon members becoming runway models and modelling on the catwalks. We also had EXO’s Kai becoming the face of Seoul Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2022 while NCT 127’s Johnny attended his first-ever Met Gala in 2022 and rocked the Gilded Age theme with a modern take on the traditional suits. And now his fellow member, Jaehyun hinted at something exciting in Milan in the most amusing way possible.

Jaehyun flies to Milan

We first had Jaehyun posting a photo of him getting his hair colored that had fans making up theories of his next schedule. It did not help that the NCT 127 star shared that he was done with group activities and was now flying somewhere for a solo schedule. He then gave us a sneak peek of his new hair which happens to be platinum blond followed by him on the plane to Milan. With Jaehyun endorsing Prada pretty regularly to becoming the only Korean artist to ever live-stream Prada’s fashion show in 2021, fans were just waiting for him to make an appearance at a Prada show personally or get booked as their global ambassador.

Well, it seems that Jaehyun will be attending Prada’s event at Milan Fashion Week, having flown to Italy on June 16. The luxury fashion house is debuting its Menswear Collection for Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons for Spring/Summer 2023 on June 19 at 2 pm CEST. It is also a busy time for NCT 127 fans as we will also be getting a 2-day Osaka concert and Jaehyun’s first-ever K-drama ‘Dear.M’ on June 29.

‘Jaehyun’s year’

Fans have been pretty hyped up as they have been trending Jaehyun since June 15 ever since he teased his new hair color. A fan shared, “Jaehyun at milan fashion week on june 19....then dear. m broadcast on june 29 oh my god jaehyun is finally booked and busy 😁 we're so close to jaehyun as prada's new global ambassador i'm crying. this is just a beginning, i knew 2022 will be jaehyun's year.”

One fan tweeted, “Jaehyun bagged a whole prada show at milan like out of all idol pr he was chosen to go there like i smell global ambassador soon perryhat.” Another posted, “OH MY GOD JAEHYUN IS REALLY GOING TO MILAN.” One NCTzen commented, “Johnny had met gala and now jaehyun has prada’s fashion show like 2022 is truly for the johnjae stans.” Another brought back why Jaehyun was the perfect choice to be Prada’s ambassador, “Jaehyun is wearing prada from head to toe 🖤 at this point, istg he would pass as human prada. damn jaehyun looks so classy and expensive.”
