'Justice for Lucas': NCT fans furious at SM after accuser's account sold to influencer
It seems that we just might be coming to an end to Lucas’ dating and gaslighting scandal. There has been much outrage after NCT fans noticed that the Weibo account of the first accuser that had spread rumors about Lucas’ dating life has been sold to an influencer. The Chinese K-pop idol was embroiled in a messy scandal in mid-2021 with four alleged exes claiming that he had gaslit them, used their money, and cheated on them. Fans also dropped him after speculation of sexual assault despite it not being mentioned in the original accusations.
Instead of admitting or denying the rumors, SM Entertainment and Lucas simply apologized and the WayV member was put on hiatus. While fans had hoped that in the meantime his scandal would be resolved, his label has only been silent on the matter. But for the past few months, there have been hints by NCT and WayV members, as well as Lucas himself that has the internet wondering if he is making a comeback.

Lucas’ first accuser sells account
We first had WayV members Yangyang and Kun sharing that their group still had seven members and that they had recently gotten into a group call. Lucas also came online on Instagram to post a photograph in February. At the end of May, a driving license academy’s staff claimed that Lucas had come along with fellow NCT members, gotten his license, and autographed as ‘NCT’s Lucas’. Fans think that SM is testing the waters to see if the general public is warming up to Lucas’ return. The latest update seems to be in his favor as the accuser’s account turned out to be a marketing account.
After seeing an influencer take over the account on June 14, fans speculated that the accuser must have bought the account with a large number of followers so that they could successfully spread rumors about Lucas. This shows malicious intent of defamation that has led to fans trending ‘Justice for Lucas’ on social media. At the same time, fans also pointed out that the new owner of the account had deleted the rumors about Lucas.
‘We want him back’
Fans are upset over SM’s continued silence and are making tweets like, “WE NEED AN STATEMENT ABOUT YOUR ARTIST. PLEASE WE ARE TIRED, AND WE WANT HIM BACK. @SMTOWNGLOBAL JUSTICE FOR #LUCAS.”
Another NCTzen posted, “NEWS OF THE DAY‼ OP 2 DELETED THE ALLEGATIONS ABOUT LUCAS ON WEIBO. LUCAS IS INNOCENT. HE WAS FRAMED. WE DEMAND JUSTICE FOR LUCAS.”
One fan commented, “It's been too long. Get him back. Justice for Lucas.” Another fan added, “Justice for lucas ! our boy deserve totally better. all the truth is coming, we are so close to the end lumis.”
