Blackpink's Lisa continues runway career for Celine: ‘She walks better than Kendall’
It looks like Blackpink’s Lisa truly is an all-rounder. Fans were first impressed when the Thai-born idol was selected as the global ambassador for French fashion house Celine. On top of that, she shocked everyone as she debuted as a runway model on the catwalk for the luxury brand’s Spring/Summer 2022 fashion show in Nice, France just months after officially partnering up with them. Lisa showed off her duality as she looked elegant in a shimmering Hedi Slimane gown followed by a Y2K look complete with a varsity jacket and straight-fit jeans.
And now, on May 4, without any announcement, fans were once again pleasantly surprised as Celine brought Lisa to model for their winter collection. The Blackpink star was one of the celebrity guests at Celine’s fashion week. And then proving that her debut runway was not just a one-time thing, she went on to walk on Celine’s catwalk for their Celine 14 Women Winter 22 Collection.

Lisa walks for Celine a second time
Slimane’s ‘Dan Paris’ collection is inspired by the royal aesthetic of Paris and to complete the show, it took place at Hotel de la Marine built in the 18th century and Hotel National des Invalides. Celine switched up their regular 1970s silhouette for a modern take on elegance as their models like K-pop idol Lisa sported glamorous cocktail dresses and paired leather jackets with skirts and combat boots.
‘Actually pretty good’
While Blackpink fans sent their support, even Knetizens were proud of Lisa as they made her second runway go viral on Korean chat forums. Many users even ended up comparing her to Kendall Jenner who is popular in South Korea. One Knetz wrote, “She walks better than Kendallㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ She's so good for real.” Another user said, “Wow her proportions are insane she's freaking cool.”
