Apple TV+s 'Invasion' just came to an end, but worry not as the show has been renewed for a Season 2. The sci-fi series follows an alien invasion as it happens around the world through the eyes of various characters.

'Invasion' takes us on a journey with Aneesha Malik (Golshifteh Farahani ), Casper Morrow (Billy Barratt ), Trevante Ward (Shamier Anderson ), and Mitsuki Yamato (Shioli Kutsuna) in Long Island, London, Afghanistan, and Tokyo respectively as they all grapple with the baffling new situation. So far, in the story, Casper is shown mysteriously connected to the aliens which sees him induce a seizure to take them down which proves successful. Read on to know what happened next and how Season 1 of 'Invasion' culminated.

Episode 10 saw the world make merry at the fall of the aliens with many even kicking the dead bodies in happiness. Casper who's left with no heartbeat after his seizure is declared dead which sees Trevante leave and go back home. Mitsuki goes to Hinata Murai's (Rinko Kikuchi) house with her father and takes the compass Hinata was gifted as a child by Mr Murai (Togo Igawa).

Meanwhile, Aneesha along with her kids Luke Malik and Sarah Malik hideout at an abandoned home, despite the situation seeming safe, as the mother's gut feeling says otherwise. Mitsuki takes a trip letting the compass guide her while Trevante gets ready to fly back to the US. But before that, he is questioned about the times he came in contact with the aliens and is informed that authorities suspect the aliens of terraforming. Luke who's upset at his father's death throws away his mystery object in the forest but later goes to look for it.

What happened at the end of 'Invasion' Episode 10?

Towards the end, we see Mitsuki receive an anonymous mail giving her access to the satellite that was tracking the frequency of the HOSHI shuttle, while Luke finds the piece and sees the surface ripple as the sky glows blue. We are then shown a confusing scene where Casper in a dream-like state, meets Mr. Murai in a dark space where he gifts him the compass he gave to his daughter many years ago. He tells Casper that he can now see where he is and where he is going before suddenly disappearing. Casper walks across with the compass in hand where he comes across glowing flower-like alien objects which sees the compass malfunction. This was the buildup for the beginning of the end.

A thrilling montage shows Aneesha wake up in fright from her sleep, Mitsuki's laptop acting up and Trevante's wife's eyes going wide in shock. We then see the brilliant and doom-inducing scene of a ginormous spaceship floating in the sky as Trevante tears up. The last still showcases just how big the mothership is as Trevante and his wife appear as small as dolls on the beach.

Looks like the aliens were a step ahead of mankind with their preparation coming to fruition. Humans may have just lost to the foreign entities with a grim future on the horizon.
