If you've been keeping up with Season 2 of 'Indian Matchmaking', you're sure to be greeted by a few familiar faces, among the new ones. That being said, it wouldn't be a season without Aparna (and her famous side eye). Back in Season 1 of the show, Aparna ended up with a bad rap, due to her outlook on love and the way she approached the whole matchmaking process.

Now, in Season 2, while Aparna admitted that she and Sima Aunty are no longer working together, she hasn't quite given up on her quest to find love and still hopes to settle down at some point.

Aparna's storyline this season has taken a few interesting turns. For starters, she is no longer in Houston and has moved to New York. She and Jay have become rather good friends over the course of the move. And, the biggest change is that she has come to terms with the fact that the life she planned might not be the one she is meant to live. And while Aparna has kept an open mind towards love and dating so far, it hasn't all worked out. Season 2 sees her toy with the idea of a relationship with Daman, a realtor from LA, but their busy lives seem to come in the way. Season 2 ended with her not rushing to make a decision as of now and take things as they come. Fans seemed more supportive of her journey the second time around. "Bro why is aparna painted so negatively on indian matchmaking she’s so relatable sis be manifesting her dream life and I support her," tweeted a fan. "Indian Matchmaking: so happy to see Aparna back because she is the grumpy romcom protagonist of my dreams and I'm rooting for her. Also so! fascinating to see someone with actual options search for a New York apartment," added another. "Am I the only person who loves Aparna from Indian matchmaking? She’s just a Sindhi Queen and she knows her worth," said a fan.

But not everyone was Team Aparna, as some fans disagreed and believed she hadn't changed much at all. "Is it just me or does #Aparna give privileged vibes? And she has the audacity to ask 'is that really hard to find love?' Yes, it is hard to find anyone for you #Indian Matchmaking #IndianMatchmakingSeason2," tweeted a fan. "Growth is realising aparna from indian matchmaking is truly insufferable and inflexible, and does very much infact, need to compromise," added another.
