'I don't care': Kelly Clarkson hits back as Blake Shelton slams 'The Voice' coach for 'meanest move'
UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: The March 3 episode of 'The Voice' Season 23 was a roller coaster ride. Some singers were sent home with tears in their eyes, while others moved on with the hope that they will do well on the show. However, coach Kelly Clarkson was called out for the "meanest move" she ever made on the reality show.
On the NBC singing show, there was some friction between Kelly and Blake Shelton when the latter openly addressed the 'Stronger' singer's playoff pass move to be the meanest of them all. Well, Kelly was seen tricking her fellow coaches on set for quite a long time before playing her cards. Read on to get all the details.

Kelly Clarkson wittily advances D Smooth on 'The Voice'
On Monday's episode, we saw 'The Voice' between Ali and D Smooth. Both sang on 'Unaware' by Allen Stone. After listening to each's version it was hard for Kelly to decide to take ahead in the show. However, she decided to go ahead with Ali. Since Ali won, D Smooth was up for grabs. Without any further delay, Chance The Rapper pushed the button to take up the opportunity of having D Smooth. But, it seems Kelly had a trick up her sleeves. As soon as Chance The Rapper pushed the button, Kelly used her Playoff Pass on D Smooth. It indeed advanced him to the Playoffs round. Well, this was one of their witty moves of Kelly as she waited until Chance The Rapper tried his chance to pick up the almost-eliminated singer. After pushing the playoff button Kelly acknowledges that Chance The Rapper wanted to work with D Smooth but she "didn't care" about it.
Blake Shelton slams Kelly Clarkson over 'meanest move'
After using the playoff pass Kelly said, "I kind of feel bad because you might want to work with him, but I just don't care, man. Like, I love you." She looked toward D Smooth and said she had a gift for him, saying, "The gift to make it all the way to the finale." She then explained that she is using her playoff pass because she wanted D. Smooth to advance in the show. The coach claimed, "I want him to be in the playoffs and I want to see what he's going to do and he's hungry for it, y'all. He wants it." Well, it seems Chance The Rapper was not surprised by this move instead he was accepting something like this. The coach singer said, "This is the second time I've tried to steal but I 100% knew in my bones that she was going to use her Playoff Pass then." But on the other hand, Blake Shelton seems to have been surprised and taken aback by Kelly's move. He called it out to be the "meanest things" he has ever seen on the singing show.
