Oscars 2021 is ready to announce the nominations of all 23 categories on March 15 at 8.19 am ET! ‘Quantico’ star Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas will be announcing all the nominees. According to reports, the first nine categories that will be announced will include supporting role, screenplay, and animated categories, followed by the most anticipated categories like Best Picture.

Among heavyweight nominees, Chloe Zhao’s ‘Nomadland’, Lee Isaac Chung’s ‘Minari',’ Aaron Sorkin’s ‘The Trial of the Chicago 7', Emerald Fennell’s 'Promising Young Woman', Regina King’s 'One Night in Miami', David Fincher’s 'Mank' and George C Wolfe’s 'Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom', to name a few.

Predictions for Oscar nomination

With the Oscars coming to reveal the nominees, predictions among social media users have already begun. A user has stated 'Crown's Princess Margaret Vanessa Kirby should be nominated for Best Actress while another said, "Da 5 Bloods probably not getting a cinematography nomination at the #Oscars tomorrow is awful #OscarNoms!" A user commented, "Laura Pausini & Diane Warren better be nominated & win!"
 

After Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards, there are big expectations from 'Nomadland' and 'Mank', among others. Chloé Zhao is likely to be nominated for directing the Globe's Best Motion Picture, Drama 'Nomadland', while Steven Yeun is likely to get an Oscar nomination for his critically acclaimed performance in 'Minari'. H.E.R is likely to grab an Oscar nomination after winning the Song of the Year award at Grammys with 'I Can't Breathe' and 'Trial of the Chicago 7' will likely get the nomination for the Best Picture.
