The long wait is finally over! After months of break, Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) and her team of students are back and the last few episodes of the final season promise to be chilling than ever before. While we were holding our breath, wondering who killed Asher Millstone (Matt McGorry)? Where did Annalise go? And most importantly, how on earth Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch) still alive? Fans of these characters have been busy with other conversations.

The hiatus has made people get into more serious discussions about where the ending of the story is headed and who deserves what. In lieu of the suspense that the midseason break left us with, here’s what the audience thinks should or could happen to their favorite characters.

Needless to say, our lead protagonist, Annalise Keating has a huge fan following. No matter how twisted and dark her character gets with every passing season/episode, her admirers are not swayed.

Talking about Annalise’s fate in the final season, one fan on Twitter said, “I'll be 100% honest. Right now, I don't care about anyone else except Annalise. I just need her to have a good ending, to be finally free of everything else and have a new start at life. They all used her and blamed her for saving their asses. #HTGAWM”

From what we saw from the midseason finale, before the show went on break, Annalise was taken into custody on the charges of murder. Fans are not ready to believe that she is guilty. “They keep saying Annalise got them into it and it's the biggest lie they've told. Wes, Laurel, Connor,  & Michaela killed Sam and all she has done since is protect them, even Asher who killed Emily. She even took a bullet for them. And she has never killed anyone! #HTGAWM”, another fan said.

Elsewhere, there are fans who are only rooting for Connor Walsh (Jack Falahee) and Oliver Hampton (Cornad Ricamora). After all, they are the cutest and the most sought-after couple on the show.

“I only care about Connor and Oliver, the other characters can die or go to jail. #htgawm”, commented a fan. The previews of the last few episodes shows Connor being interrogated by the FBI.

Another fan only wanted a happy ending for “Coliver” as they said, “At the end of the show, Connor and Oliver finally go on a honeymoon!  Otherwise, I will be angry. #htgawm”

“Connor and Oliver deserve a happy ending. Connor, Michaela and Oliver didn't kill anyone! #htgawm”, added another.

Some fans also think that Bonnie Winterbottom (Liza Weil) and Frank Delfino (Charlie Weber) are more guilty of their crimes than anyone else.

“Bonnie and Franck have to go to jail.  They don't deserve a happy ending.  The only ones who deserve a happy ending are Connor, Oliver and Michaela. #htgawm”, argued a fan.

‘How To Get Away With Murder’ Season 6 comes back with final few episodes starting April 2, 2020 at 10pm/9c, only on ABC.
