'Head of the Class': 5 things you need to know about the comedy series on HBO Max
'Head of the Class' is a reboot of the original 1980s comedy, created by Rich Eustis and Michael Elias. Get ready for half-hour episodes packed with laughs and high school drama, as the comedy series is all set with a 10-episode series, to air on HBO Max.
The comedy tells us the story of a bunch of overambitious kids in high school, and their clash with their biggest challenge yet; their teacher who creates a plan for her students to focus more on experiencing real life, rather than grades.

Who stars in the HBO Max series?
Isabella Gomez as Alicia Adams
Isabella Gomez is of Colombian descent, and started working in the acting industry at just 5 years old! Gomez began her training on commercials at the age of 10, while in Florida. She is known for her role in 'Matador', and even made a guest appearance in 'Modern Family'. Gomez is most popularly known for her role as Elena Alvarez on the comedy sitcom, 'One Day at a Time'.
Christa Miller as Principal Maris
Christa Miller has been all about the cameras and the glam life way before she learned to walk; she appeared on the cover of Rebook at the age of 3! Miller went on to pursue a career in modeling and appeared in national magazines while working steadily in both Europe and Japan, and at 16, she landed her first commercial. Miller is known for her TV role on 'Kate & Allie'. Over time, she won a guest role in an episode of 'Northern Exposure', and also had guest roles on 'Seinfeld', 'Party of Five', and 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air'. Miller's roles in films include 'Deceived', and 'Love and Happiness'. In 1994, Miller starred in the TV movie, 'Death of a Cheerleader', alongside Kellie Martin.
