MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM: The worst betrayal in 'The Circle' has just unfolded between Tom Houghton and the person he felt was his number one ally during Season 5. Fans are outraged and disgusted when Brett Robinson and Xanthi Perdikomatis, who worked together as "Jennifer," did Tom dirty.

In the final episode before the finale airs on Netflix next week, the British comedian presumed he and "cool aunt" Jennifer would make it to the end together but little did he knew that "Jennifer" was basically previously blocked players Brett and Xanthi, who would go to any length to avoid being blocked again. So, although Tom put his 'The Circle' BFF first, "Jennifer" ranked Tom last to guarantee that he was at the bottom instead of them, sparing "Jennifer" from being blocked once everyone discovered she was the hacker causing difficulties.

Fans who were never fan of the duo that made up "Jennifer" were really not happy how things went down just before the finale. Most viewers took to social media to express their frustration asking why Tom would still rate "Jennifer" after learning the truth. One person tweeted, "Jennifer really gonna rate Tom low after he forgave them and still rated them number 1." While others were straight up mad at Aunty Jen as one wrote, "Jennifer putting Tom in the last position as a strategy to save themselves while he rated them in number one and kept their secrets when he could have thrown them under the bus."

Blaming Tom for his association with the wrong people, another viewer wrote, "Tom was in with the bad b***hes, Chaz, Sam, and Raven, but chose to align himself with Sasha and Jennifer and he became a loser by association. He saw Jennifer’s true colours, still decided to save her and now he’s out. Deserved!" A fourth viewer added, "Tom will be looking a fool once he goes back and watch how Jennifer played on him. I know they were supposed to be tactical, but that was supposed to be their ride or die until the end. The other alliances are in TACT. But he trusted the wrong one."

'The Circle' fans, who have been religously watching the show for five seasons, were not happy with the 'emotional' decision Tom made. One person wrote on Twitter, "Not Tom sticking to his truth and playing the game with his heart only to get blocked by his 'best friend' / alliance… y’all gotta stop playing emotional like 'Jennifer' said. Sorry, Tom!" Some fans were shocked and mad as they ask, "F**K OFF. Why on earth is Tom going home instead of ‘Jennifer?’" Another person wrote, "Poor Tom. He didn't deserve that instant block. How the hell does 'Jennifer' keep missing the block?" As per the final rating, fans feel Tom was played, "Tom was ROBBED!!!!! IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN JENNIFER!! FAKE B***H!!!"
