Alma has looked for him in both the United States and the Free States but her efforts went in vain. With the DMZ being the only region that she hasn't searched yet, Alma ventures into it and this results in her getting caught up in the ongoing political crisis.  Alma finds out that the DMZ is heading toward its first election and that out of the two contenders one happens to be Wilson (Hoon Lee) an old friend of hers while the other is Parco (Benjamin Bratt) her ex-husband.
