Plot
The movie is based on the book ‘The House with The Wooden Santas’ by Kevin Major. It narrates the holiday experience of Anne (Brooke D’Orsay) in her small town home in Maine, when she makes her annual Christmas visit to meet her family. When she hears about her father selling his lifetime’s toy business and is about to retire from his wood-carving career, she decides to step in. As a big businesswoman from New York, she can take over his business and continue with the family tradition. But when she meets the handsome but widowed Keith McClain (Trevor Donovan), to co-chair the town’s Christmas celebrations, she starts wondering about her life choices. Torn between her fast-paced NYC career, her family’s business, and her budding romance with Keith, Anne goes on a journey of self-discovery throughout the holidays.

Canadian actor D’Orsay rose to fame with her performances in TV shows like ‘Royal Pains’ (2009- 2016), ‘Drop Dead Diva’ (2009-2014), and appearance in award-winning sitcom ‘Two and a Half Men’. Actor and model Trevor Donovan is known for his fan favorite role of Teddy Montgomery in the international hit teen drama television series ‘90210’.
