The month of December has started, which means that the holiday season is just around the corner and people have started to decorate their houses to celebrate the occasion of Christmas. Apart from being a holiday season, it is also the season where people tend to forget the past and embrace the future. It is also a season where childhood crushes become lifetime partners and that’s what the upcoming Hallmark movie is all about.

Titled ‘A Very Merry Bridesmaid’, the movie revolves around a woman named Leah (Emily Osment) whose 30th birthday is on Christmas Eve, but she’s busy as her brother’s wedding also takes place on the same day. Her childhood crush, Drew (Casey Deidrick), is also back in the town to attend the wedding and makes sure that Leah’s birthday is celebrated at any cost. Will Drew be able to make her feel special on her special day? The answer to that burning question will be given when the movie is released on Hallmark Channel.

When does ‘A Very Merry Bridesmaid’ release and where can you watch it

The upcoming romantic movie from Hallmark will be premiering exclusively on Saturday, December 4, at 8 pm EST. Viewers can watch the movie on Hallmark Channel and if you are based out of the US, then you might need a VPN to watch the film.

What is ‘A Very Merry Bridesmaid’ is all about

The official synopsis reads, “Leah's (Osment) 30th birthday is on Christmas Eve, the same day as her brother’s wedding. Her childhood crush is back in town for the wedding and he is determined to make sure her birthday does not go by the wayside.”

Who stars in the upcoming Hallmark movie

The Hallmark has an amazing star cast which is being led by the supremely talented Emily Osment. The actress plays the role of Leah in the movie while Casey Deidrick portrays the character of Drew in the movie.

Emily Osment

Osment began her career as a child actress and appeared in various TV shows and films. The actress was just 7-years-old when she made her feature film debut in 1999 with ‘The Secret Life of Girls’, opposite Eugene Levy and Linda Hamilton. Since then, she has appeared on more than 60 projects throughout her career. Apart from being an actress, she is a musician as well and released her first studio album ‘Fight or Flight’ in 2010. Osment was recently seen playing Chelsea on the Netflix show ‘Pretty Smart’.



 

The other actors include Frances Leigh as Julia Rutherford, Parmiss Sehat as Marcie Jones, and Lachlan Quarmby as Jalen.

‘A Very Merry Bridesmaid’ is being directed by David I. Strasser and the story has been written by the dynamic duo of Tracy Andreen and Elena Valdez. On the other hand, Rob French and Stephen Harmaty are producing the movie and Kristofer McNeeley serves as executive producer on the movie.
