For a seasoned queen like Ginger Minj, she took the stage by storm on Season 7 of 'RuPaul's Drag Race'. Who is Ginger Minj?
Joshua Allen Eads who goes by the stage name Ginger Minj, is a drag queen, actor, singer, songwriter, and reality television personality. Eads was born in Lake County, Florida, and majored in theatre at school. As Ginger Minj, she competed on the seventh season of 'RuPaul's Drag Race', where she made it to the top three.
Her drag mother is retired Orlando performer Rusty Fawcett. Minj is a seasoned pageant queen and holds several titles, such as "Miss Gay United States 2013" and "Miss National Comedy Queen 2012."
She did phenomenally well on her season and even won the coveted 'Snatch Game', where she impersonated musician Adele. Her Season 2 'All Stars' run wasn't as successful, seeing that she was eliminated in the third episode itself. Post her appearance on 'Drag Race', she has been a part of several drag tours such as the 'Battle of the Seasons', 'Haters Roast' and 'Queens United'.
The queen's net worth
As reported by Famous Birthdays, Minj's current net worth is $1.5 million. She is known to have an active music career and has released singles over the course of the same, such as "Ooh Lala Lala" "Bad, Bad Boy". Her debut album, 'Sweet T' was released in October 2016.
Her second debut album, 'Clown F**ker' was scheduled to release in 2018 and later in 2019, but remains unreleased as of now. Apart from singing, Minj is also an actor having performed since childhood.
She voiced the character Lemon Chiffon in the 2018 Netflix original series 'Super Drags' and even starred in the musical comedy film 'Dumplin'', which features Jennifer Anniston. Minj was also a part of the cast of 'AJ and the Queen', which features RuPaul.
