MONTERREY, MEXICO: (G)I-DLE’s first world tour has had several iconic moments but no one could have guessed that Shuhua would go viral for a moment after the concerts. On Sunday, August 14, (G)I-DLE performed in Monterrey, Mexico. There was a worrying moment when she supposedly fainted during ‘My Bag’, she later assured fans she was alright. The K-pop idol shared that she was simply tired and so could not finish the song. However, it was her VLive later that night that went hilariously viral after she aggressively supported LGBT+ fans and slammed homophobia.

After the concert, Shuhua went on VLive to chat with fans. She read a comment where a Neverland ((G)I-DLE's fan) asked what to do if they love someone of the same gender. Fans loved her response as the idol energetically replied, “Just go for it! Just go for it! I want you to love bravely! Don’t kid, don’t kid. For real!” This is not the first time that the (G)I-DLE star has gone viral for her wise words. Back in June, Shuhua had slammed an incident where a group of men assaulted a Chinese woman. With both China and South Korea having a long way to go when it comes to women’s rights, fans commended the star for speaking up regardless of the repercussions as a Chinese and K-pop celebrity.

Shuhua gives LGBT+ fans advice

That was not the end of her rant on VLive though, as Shuhua also read another comment, "What should I do if my parents disapprove of me being gay?" The (G)I-DLE star replied, "This is a good question. It is your own business, not your parents’, to be in a relationship. So, I think you can communicate effectively with your parents. If your parents truly love you, they should eventually accept you. Don’t worry. You have no idea how powerful love is." LGBT+ Neverlands were touched by Shuhua’s words and took to social media to thank her for her support.

'Queen said gay rights'

Fans were touched as they trended Shuhua on Twitter. One fan tweeted, “I will say this again, their is NO IDOL like shuhua. I’ve never seen someone so genuine and vocal about their opinions and one who scolds nevies during every vlive 😭🤣🤣 she’s truly one of a kind and we’re very lucky to have a yeh shuhua in the music industry!!” Another made a reaction meme, “Shuhua talking to the girls after her vlive today.”

One fan posted, “Seriously shuhua is so brave and amazing for answering 2 questions about same sex relationships queen said gay rights.” Another Neverland commented, “Shuhua is such a queen.” One shared, “Shuhua aggressively supporting gay ppl is too funny; really answered that question like ‘dont ask me no stupid question just be gay’.” Another found her cute, “She is literally so angry.” One Neverland added, “Will i go marry the first girl i meet in a gay club because shuhua asked me to not be a coward? Yes.”
