Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum SLAMMED by 'AGT' fans for criticizing Funkanometry as 'viral TikTok'

Heidi Klum expressed how underwhelming Funkanometry's performance was, while Sofia Vergara claimed that it seemed like a middle school dance performance

PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: Who would have ever thought that there would come a day when 'America's Got Talent' fans would side with Simon Cowell and slam Howie Mandel? Well, that's pretty much what transpired on the recently aired episode of ABC's hit talent show after Funkanometry's performance.

Dancers duo Funkanometry walked onto 'AGT' semi-finals stage hoping to wow the judges with their cool dance moves. The duo pulled out all stops to make their dance act stand out. Sadly, it didn't strike a chord with any other judges other than Simon. Heidi Klum expressed how underwhelming their performance was, while Sofia Vergara claimed that it seemed like a middle school dance performance. Howie went a step ahead and dismissed Funkanometry's performance as some 'viral TikTok' and not worth of 'AGT' stage. Thankfully, Simon came to the dancers' rescue and praised them for trying out something different.

'AGT' fans sided with Simon and praised the dancers while calling out the other judges for their harsh feedback. A fan tweeted, "Just because a dance group doesn’t flip upside down, doesn’t mean they’re less talented. @funkanometry is 🔥🔥 #AGT."

"I really enjoyed @funkanometry tonight on #AGT We all need a little bit of funk in our lives right now. Well done guys! ," wrote a fan. "Thank you, @SimonCowell I don't know what the other judges were watching. @funkanometry was amazing tonight. #AGT," added a fan. 

Fans also took to the show's YouTube clip of their performance to praise Funkanometry. A fan commented, "These guys r amazing I don't care wat Heidi or Howie says and to all the negative comments on here --------yep that's wat I think about them these boys r very talented and the positive energy they bring on stage is unbelievable the world needs more of these two"

"Hi Funkanometry, just ignore what both girls said about your performance tonight. I do agree with Simon - your act since the audition were really amazing. For me, it's not just dancing, the way you guys do it is totally different and far away from boring routine other "technical dancers" usually do. You also always bring joy and happiness glowing out from your moves your facial expressions, and I can easily smile everytime I watch you guys perform. Keep doing what you're doing, rooting for you guys all the way from now. Love from Thailand," expressed a fan.
