'AGT' Live Show: Fans SLAM Howie Mandel for criticism towards MPLUSPLUS, say 'your bias is so obvious'

Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum were unimpressed by the act, but fans considered it much better than most singing acts with a 'sob story'

PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: With the live shows now taking place, each act on 'America's Got Talent' is pulling out all the stops. After all, this is the last round standing between them and the finals. With their dreams on the line, the acts this season are ready to battle it out!

As MPLUSPLUS geared up to take to the stage, Minoru Fujimoto, the CEO of MPLUSPLUS explained that this technology was 12 years in the making. The first costume he ever made had 200 LED lights and now, being on 'AGT' led him to develop new technology, in order to take it up a notch.

However, just 24 hours before their performance, the tech broke down, causing panic. However, MPLUSPLUS was dedicated to giving their all and they seemed to have done just that. However, it wasn't enough to impress all of the judges. Howie Mandel was thoroughly unimpressed, stating that he failed to understand how and why the technology took 12 years to make. Heidi Klum too was underwhelmed by the act. Simon Cowell, however, jumped to their aid, stating that he thought they were a Vegas-worthy act, while Sofia Vergara agreed that she liked their performance more than she did audition.

Fans were quick to call out Howie Mandell on his critique. "#AmericasGotTalent #AGT "You can just buy lights off the pier. Idk why it took 12 years to develop" You can just record with your phone. Idk why it takes millions of dollars to make a movie." wrote a fan. "That was one of the most spectacular acts I've ever seen on #AGT @howiemandel You are crazy! And @heidiklum loved Parmasan Cheese guy but them?? #MPLUSPLUS" added a fan. "@howiemandel how dare you degrade the work and time that someone has spent on something that the love and are good at. They program all of that to the music and ALL of it takes time, effort and talent. Shame on you. #AGT #MPLUSPLUS" said another. "Seriously #agt judges? That wasn’t Vegas enough but the endless singers are so original?? Your bias is so obvious." wrote a fan. "@howiemandel, you can find good singers on the Santa Monica pier too, or NY subway. Why do the judges & producers have such a bias for them? You don't see this act on the street. A really unique & creative act is far superior to the same generic singer with a sob story. @AGT #agt" added a fan.
