'Fumbled the bag': Internet blasts Lisa Rinna as former 'RHOBH' star claims she 'wouldn't' return to Bravo show
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Lisa Rinna claims she will 'never' return to 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'. Even though the Bravo star admits the show made her a "better actress" for an upcoming Lifetime movie, fans claim she will be on her first train back if given the right amount.
Lisa famously wrote a resignation letter to her managers at 'RHOBH' in September 2022, and 18 months later, she said she still has no intentions of returning to the popular Bravo reality program. "No, never. No, I wouldn't," the 60-year-old actress, who appeared in eight seasons, said in a preview of March 22's 'The Jennifer Hudson Show'.
As news of her claims hit the internet, viewers of the long-running show took to Instagram, and wrote, "Girl they are never asking you back lol!!! The viewers don't miss you either!!!"
While another user chimed in, "Trust me. When the number is right she will be on the first train and show up the earliest."
One user quipped, "Lisa says she would never go back, but she never misses an opportunity to talk about the show. Turn the page! Thank you."
A fourth person joked, "lol wait all those years as a working “actress” and reality tv made her a better actress in 8 years lol …. The lies the lies the lies! You fumbled the bag and you still won’t “own it” ! But the best thing ever is that we are rid of you because Bravo don’t want you and neither do we."
One fan also wrote, "We don't want her anyway never liked that manipulating calculator."
Others agreed, "And we don’t want her back! We are perfectly fine without her."
Lisa Rinna 'grateful for 'RHOBH' for making her a 'better actor'
Lisa continued on the show, "But listen, I grateful for the experience. I think that it has made me a better actor because I'm acting again."
An audience member snickered, and Lisa (born Elizabeth) said, "I'm not kidding! You laugh, but it's true. I think it made made me a better actor, working with those women [and] going through that experience."
"I just did a movie called Mommy Meanest, which I trained for for eight years on that show. I definitely did, and I had a lot to pull from," the four-time Daytime Emmy nominee explained.
"I have a lot to pull from after working for eight years on that show. You know, different psychologies of different women—I never would have come across that if I hadn't done that show. I am grateful for that show. I'm the person I am today because of it, but I'll never go back. Did it, done it, saw the movie."
'RHOBH's Lisa Rinna says her resignation letter from Bravo has vindicated her
Lisa is even talking about her experience with Bravo, and she is making a good impression. Lisa said, "I had no idea," while posing for Cosmopolitan, that she was pleased to learn that Bravo had released her resignation letter.
"Nobody gave me a heads-up. I mean, a week before it aired, somebody sent it to me because Bravo had sent out a preview of the episode. So I thought, ‘Wow, look at that.’ Because, of course, everyone thought I’d been fired. But no, I made that decision. I sent text messages to the rest of the people. I sent an email to the head of Bravo, but I sent text messages to everybody else."
Lisa believed the choice was correct "at the time," and she was pleased that the network aired her email, which said, "I will not be renewing my contract, and I will not be coming back to RHOBH. Thank you so much for 8 years!!!! All the best, Lisa."
Denise Richards shares reason she last spoke to 'RHOBH's Lisa Rinna
The friendship between Denise Richards and Lisa has ended. Denise discussed her strained connection with Lisa on the March 6 episode of 'Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen'. When asked about her current relationship with her former friend and 'RHOBH' alum, Denise admitted, "Lisa Rinna and I are not friends."
During the episode, host Andy Cohen asked Denise about her last connection with Lisa, causing her to confess, "I spoke to her once because, unfortunately, we had a mutual friend that had passed, and so that was only the time we spoke."
Despite the solemn occasion, Denise stated her readiness to continue a polite connection, telling Andy, "But as far as a friendship where we would be back to where we were -- that wouldn’t happen. But I can be friendly with her."
