'Florida Man' Episode 2: How did [SPOILER] fake her own death?

The premiere of ‘Florida Man’ ended with a massive twist and viewers got to know that Delly West (Abbey Lee) is not dead. She faked her own death to get out of a bad situation. The second episode takes us to a flashback where Delly is entering Florida in her new BMW and trying to start a new life. She was having a nice life and thought that her dreadful past life is not a matter of concern now. However, things get to take a drastic U-turn when she gets to know that Mike Valentine (Edgar Ramirez) has now returned to his home state and reconnecting with his family.
Delly had to change her plans and now think of getting away from this dangerous position. So, she befriends an EMT specialist named Jason and applauds him for helping people when they need someone the most. After a while, she makes it clear that he would have to save one more life and for that, he would have to kill that person first. The plan is to make Mike realize that Delly is dead so that Mike (Ramirez) can return to Moss and they can do whatever they want to do. It all comes to the night when Mike was following Delly’s car and reaching her room. According to the plan, Jason would pour a lot of blood on her body and give her an injection that would slow her heartbeat, making people realize that she is dead. After that, Jason would fire two shots and run away from the room.

As soon as he reaches outside, he would have to sit in his ambulance and reach the room so that he could take her away before the police arrive at the scene. However, the ambulance gets into an accident with a police vehicle, making Jason heavily injured. Delly takes a chance and leaves the ambulance, hiding in the nearby bushes. So, that’s how Delly faked her own death and now she is back so that she can work with Mike and they both can have their freedom.
Will Mike help Delly with her plan? To be honest, Mike is actually in love with her, so it won’t come as a shock that he would do anything for her. But it seems Delly is hiding something from Mike and that might put Mike in danger.
Things are getting heated up now and Mike might be getting into more trouble in the coming episodes.
