Is Gus injured? 'Floribama Shore' fans worry as his ATV flips

The latest episode spots a wild Gus hitting the accelerator to the max before fate put a dent in his need for speed

'Floribama Shore' is an American reality television series, and premiered on MTV on November 27, 2017, in the United States. The location of the show is set in Florida, along the beach that stretches all the way to Alabama. The series documents eight young adults who live together during the summer on the Gulf Coast in Panama City Beach, Florida. They are filmed partying, working, living in a new environment, getting along, and bonding.

MTV renewed the series for a second season, which premiered on July 9, 2018. The series was renewed for a third season and premiered on November 14, 2019, with a location change to St. Pete Beach, Florida. A fourth season was announced on January 26, 2021, and premiered on February 25, 2021. This season saw two new locations for the series; Missoula, Montana, and Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The second part of Season 4 premiered on September 16, 2021.

Gus Smyrnios is a star on the show 'Floribama Shore'. Charming and sweet, the native Floridian may pride himself on his gentlemanly manners, but when fists start flying, he has a tendency to wind up in the middle of things. Though a working model seeking a career in the entertainment industry, Gus is no mere pretty boy. He was kicked out of his house at 17 and had to learn to toughen up fast. Coming into the game with no previous challenge experience, he'll have to learn fast who to watch out for and who he can trust.

In the recently aired episode, the gang plan and decide to go on a wild ATV bike ride, in the muddy slopes near their beach house. Candace rides along with Aimee and is holding onto dear life, while Codi, Kirk, Jeremiah, and Gus are having the time of their lives. On the last run, Gus insists on taking a solo drive, to get that adrenaline high, we think! He kicks hard on the accelerator and before you know it, the ATV flips, doing a complete 360! 

A fan tweeted "#MTVfloribamashore @FloribamaShore omg gus are you ok @GusSmyrnios you flipped the ATV OMG". "@GusSmyrnios has me over here freaking out till next week....need I remind you he's already in a boot and not recovered from 1 injury! #MTVFloribamaShore", another fan commented.

Gus himself shared a tweet for fans that said "Oops, More to the list #mtvfloribamashore", with a collage of the injuries he sustained via the accident. Gus also shared a tweet, saying "Yikes #mtcfloribamashore", along with a clip of the flipping ATV accident. Major ouch!
