'Luckiest Girl Alive' on Netflix was released on October 7, 2022. On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 41% of 34 critics' reviews are positive, with an average rating of 5.6/10, whereas Metacritic assigned the film a weighted average score of 54 out of 100, based on 15 critics, indicating "mixed or average reviews." Fans loved it too however, they had one complaint which was the creators needed to be a little more mindful of the fact that some of the scenes had sexual assault vividly shown in them.

If you have not watched the movie yet, it is a mystery thriller film directed by Mike Barker from a screenplay by Jessica Knoll, based on her 2015 novel of the same name. The film stars Mila Kunis, Finn Wittrock, Scoot McNairy, Thomas Barbusca, Jennifer Beals, and Connie Britton. 'Luckiest Girl Alive', which is also produced by Kunis, 39, explores the phenomenon of victim blaming and the scarlet-lettering of sexual assault survivors in graphic detail perhaps too graphic for some audiences thus they went on a rampage on Twitter.
