LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Netflix has announced the release date for 'Extraction 2' and it's going to be bigger and badder than ever. The Chris Hemsworth starrer is directed by Sam Hargrave, who also headed the first part. Hemsworth will be returning as the black OPS mercenary Tyler Rake. 'Extraction' has been one of Netflix's most-popular pure-action films that featured several fiery choreographed sequences.
As 'Extraction' ended with Tyler Rake in a devastating state, this sequel will explore his next deadly mission. This sequel is set to follow him as he is tasked with rescuing the family of a Georgian gangster from a prison. The cast of 'Extraction 2' includes Golshifteh Farahani reprising her role as Nik Khan, Daniel Bernhardt as Konstantine and Tinatin Dalakishvili as Ketevan. Joe Russo will return as writer for the movie. This film is also produced by Russo and his brother, Anthony, under AGBO production as well as Hemsworth. There may be new faces in the movie but no confirmation has been provided thus far.
