DIXON, KENTUCKY: TLC just dropped the new episode of '1000-lb Sisters.' And the episode seems to have become the most controversial of all the other ones. Amy Slaton claimed in the show that her grandfather was allegedly killed by her uncle. As soon as Amy dropped this claim, the internet started flooding with messages wondering what the truth was.

Amy recently gave birth to a baby boy in the show. And, parting away from the bump was not an easy task for the star. Moreover, her husband Michael being infected with Covid also became one of the other troubles for the family. In the recently released episode, we saw Amy casually talking about her grandfather's death. She added her uncle to the storyline. The star at first explained that her uncle had a drinking habit which became a major issue for the family. Amy said, "He [grandfather] drank antifreeze and he passed away." She added, "My uncle fed it to him." She further added that her uncle's evil doings were tactics allegedly inspired by a book. Listening to these claims, a fan took to Facebook, saying, "So on the last episode, Amy said her grandfather was killed by her uncle, and that he fed him antifreeze?? And it was in a book? Anyone know anything? I’m interested."

Listening to this, fans instantly started looking up to know more about the storyline of the book. A fan tweeted the video where he is seen searching for the book. He captioned it, "Me right now." Another wondered, "I wonder if this book was an inspiration for the show called Murder in the heartland. It went for 5 seasons." Another shocked fan processed the story and wrote, "I’m sorry, WHAT? A few fans took to their Facebook page to speculate the whole scenario. One wrote, "According to Amy and old folklore legend. The uncle was so poor he ate the grandfather alive." To this, another joked, "The price of that book gone up 15$." A fan doubted Amy's claims, saying, "Could be another lie." "Also heard this although I think she was joking and actually just talking about the book," claimed another.
