DIXON, KENTUCKY: Focusing on the physical and mental health journey of sisters Amy and Tammy Slaton, TLC's '1000-Lb Sisters' spins mainly around the storyline of weight loss. As soon as Season 4 of the show was released, fans called out TLC for "exploiting" the stars. Tammy, who has been facing a lot of weight issues because of her obesity, was seen adjusting herself to fit into a chair for the personal interview on the show.

Seeing that neither Tammy nor Amy have been losing any pounds, fans wonder whether the show is just faking that it's about the weight loss journey. Many wonders whether the Slaton sisters lied to TLC for getting the show as they are not seen making any efforts to follow a healthy lifestyle. Moreover, fans called out TLC on the internet for focusing on Amy's diverted eyes as she said that she needs to get her eyes checked.
