'Ex on the Beach' fans began assuming that Caro may have been asked to leave the show because she threw drinks at her ex Ray

When Caro Viehweg and Ray Gantt left 'Love Island', the couple's fairytale romance had fans slamming the show for not announcing them as the winners. The love-struck couple immediately got into a long-distance relationship, and everything seemed to be going well between the two until Caro suddenly announced that Ray and she had decided to call it quits. While neither Caro nor Ray gave any explanation for their break-up, fans finally got their answers when the couple decided to join MTV's 'Ex on the Beach' Season 3.

The premiere episode kicked off with Caro storming in ready to rip Ray apart after she learned that he cheated on her with his best friend while they were still together. What triggered Caro was the fact that she always suspected it but Ray kept downplaying it and denied having any feelings for his best friend. Just when Caro began thinking that maybe she was being very paranoid or crazy and wanted to mend things with Ray, he dropped the truth bomb. Eventually, Caro simmered down and explained to Ray that she still loved him and wanted to make things work between them and requested him to just be honest with her. As Caro and Ray began working on their relationship, things got rocky yet again leading to Caro's removal from the show itself.

Why was Caro removed from 'Ex on the Beach'?

During one of the truth or dare games on the show, Ray was asked the question if he cheated on Caro. She immediately named one of Ray's best friends and asked him if he hooked up with her. Ray tried dodging from answering the question, which confirmed Caro's suspicions. When Ray finally admitted that he slept with two of his friends while he was still seeing Caro, she was left fuming. In about of rage Caro threw the drink she was holding in Ray's direction. Though the drink ended up on the wall, everybody was left feeling shocked. Caro then stormed out angrily feeling betrayed by Ray yet again.

Sadly, that was the last we saw of Caro, as the narrator of the show announced that Caro was removed from the house without giving any explanations or reason for her removal. Fans immediately began assuming that Caro might have been asked to leave the show because she threw drinks at her ex-Ray. This theory left many fans feeling upset as they felt that Caro drink-throwing wasn't worthy of her eviction from the show and began slamming the MTV show. A fan tweeted, "Damn not Caro! All she did was throw a drink!!?? AT A MAN WHO JUST ADMITTED HE CHEATED ON HER TWICE!! WTH DID YALL EXPECT #exonthebeach." "They removed Caro for throwing a drink but they never removed Angela for acting crazy every damn day for TWO seasons???? #ExOnTheBeach," wrote a fan. "Hold on so caro was removed because she threw a drink on a wall? #ExOnTheBeach," commented a fan. "Caro is gone ??? I’m not watching this season anymore #Exonthebeach," declared a fan. "WAIT SO THEY SENT HOME CARO FOR VIOLENCE BUT NOT JAMAR FOR ASSAULTING THAT GIRL. That’s so on brand for MTV. #ExOnTheBeach #EOTB," pointed out a fan. 

Some fans felt that maybe it was better for Caro to be away from all the drama for her mental health's sake. A fan shared, "So Caro had to leave, but maybe that's better for her. I'm sure Ray thinks he's off the hook now. But more ex's are coming and who knows who'll be coming out of that water for him next... #ExontheBeach." "My queen @Caroviee deserves so much happiness, I hope she had the closure she needed to thrive to her fullest potential #ExOnTheBeach," expressed a fan.

'Ex on the Beach' Season 5 airs every Thursday at 8/7c on MTV.
