Eunwoo turns heads in eccentric piercings, skirt, Astro fans say 'he can do anything'

The idol actor is turning heads for his latest magazine cover, wearing a white and red polo neck with a 3D construction paired with a black knee-length skirt

Astro is booked and busy from Eunwoo, Rocky, and Sanha bagging several acting projects to Jinjin and Rocky debuting as a duo while Moonbin and Sanha are preparing for their sub-unit comeback. There were also rumors on Twitter that there would be a world tour soon as leader Jinjin hinted at a fan sign that they were waiting for their next tour. And now Eunwoo is turning heads for his latest magazine cover.

W Korea roped in idol actor Eunwoo for their March edition. Said to be experimenting for their upcoming issues, W Korea is dividing the March edition with an ‘M’ and a ‘W’ version. The cover star for ‘W’, which stands for Women, will be international actress Bae Doona while the cover of the ‘M’ version, which is for Men, will be graced by Eunwoo of Astro. And as the latest ambassador of Burberry, he was sporting outfits from the luxury fashion house for the photoshoot, which was equally experimental.

While W Korea might have divided the March editions according to gender, the cover stars are breaking norms and channeling genderfluid fashion. For one of the two covers of ‘M’, Eunwoo is seen wearing a white and red polo neck with a 3D construction paired with a black knee-length skirt. This is not his first time wearing skirts as Burberry, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ Korea, and W Korea have all often given him skirts that he has pulled off in his past photoshoots.

But it is the second ‘M’ cover that surprised many. In a teaser, we got a glimpse of the Astro star wearing a lip ring that sent his fandom into a frenzy. However, it looks like no one was ready for the full look. In the second cover of ‘M’, Eunwoo is seen wearing a pastel pink coat and a black vest along with accessories like a fake clunky lip ring and nose bridge piercing. Many Korean and international fans found it shocking at first before they accepted that only Eunwoo could make it work.

At the same time, he is also releasing new solo music. His OST (original soundtrack) for the webtoon 'The Villainess is a Marionette' is dropping on February 22. He will also star in the upcoming K-drama 'Island' and the film 'Decibel', which will be his first major role on the big screen.
