K-pop idols and actors Astro Eunwoo and Red Velvet Yeri stun at Burberry Jeju event
The Spring/Summer fashion weeks have been taking place all over the world including South Korea. Earlier, it was reported that EXO’s Kai had become the ambassador for the Seoul Fashion Week S/S 2022. With the global influence of the Hallyu Wave, we also have fashion brands roping in K-pop idols as ambassadors for their campaigns and events. A lot of elite fashion houses that do not take personalities as ambassadors are also jumping on the bandwagon as we had aespa become the first K-pop ambassador for Givenchy. And now idols like Astro’s Eunwoo and Red Velvet’s Yeri have been invited to Burberry’s Jeju event.
The British luxury fashion house Burberry is the latest to endorse K-pop idols. Having launched in the 1850s, their focus was mainly on outdoor and sporty attire before moving into haute couture. Their global ambassadors have included the likes of movie star Yoo Ah-in and EXO’s Baekhyun. A few months ago, idol actor Eunwoo became the latest South Korean celebrity to become Burberry’s ambassador. And he's also involved in Burberry’s latest fashion event at Jeju island.

Celebrity lineup
To introduce their latest ‘Burberry Outerwear’ collection, Burberry organized the event ‘Burberry The Imagined Landscape Jeju’ at Jeju island. Known as a popular tourist spot, the fashion house created a huge icy destination like a pyramid that would complement their latest athleisure collection. And the three-day event had a huge star-studded lineup.
Han Hyo-joo
She is a movie actress and has acted in films like ‘The Beauty Inside’ as well as K-dramas like ‘W’.

He was quite recently in the Netflix original ‘D.P.’ and is set to star opposite Blackpink’s Jisoo in ‘Snowdrop’.
