LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Viewers of 'Dancing With The Stars' are divided as TikTok sensation Charli D'Amelio continues to score high on the show. Viewers flocked to social media to protest that it was unjust to pit a professional dancer against a swarm of novices, fearing that others don't stand a chance.

Last week, Charlie D'Amelio was at the top of the leaderboard. She's dancing the quickstep this week, which is a massive step up from what she was doing last week. The TikTok star makes a complete 180 in the genre and still manages to come out on top. Fans on social media can't help but note how a professional dancer like her gets to be on the show while others struggle to make it through elimination with no dancing expertise. They also didn't like the TikTok star to be unattentive while her mother, Heidi D’Amelio took the stage.

Judge Len Goodman thinks she's a fantastic dancer but he believed Charli's transition from in hold to out of grip was jarring. Judge Derek Hough felt the side-by-side segment was fantastic, but he agrees with Len that she had issues while in holding. Judge Bruno Tonioli believed it was a "delicious" quickstep with hummingbird-like movement. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba praised it for being "pristine and precise." Even with her experience, the judges' remarks were too nitpicky, but she still manages to receive 8s from each of them, bringing her total to 32 out of 40.

Even though viewers enjoyed Charli's performance, they didn't feel it was fair for the show to have cast a professional dancer among novices. A fan shared their opinion saying how they didn't feel Charli's performance deserved such high score: "last week charli deserved a great score. this week? def not all 8 worthy. #DancingWiththeStars #DWTS31." Calling her 'underwhelming,' a fan wrote: "Ugh Charli is underwhelming. I don’t enjoy her at all. It’s like they threw two of the dancers on there and not a “star” she should not be on the show #DWTS31." Comparing Charli to former contestant Jojo Siwa, a viewer tweeted: "Charli is basically the equivalent of JoJo Siwa on #DWTS31 She already had a ton of dance experience coming in." A fan torn between their own thoughts shared: "although i still don’t think it’s fair that’s she’s a contestant because she’s a former competitive dancer but i thoroughly enjoy charli damilios performances! #DWTS."

Some fans also called out the judges for not picking on Charli's misstep and still giving her 8s: "#DWTS I’m so sorry I love Charli but like… did the judges not see the missteps or am I crazy??? Like all 8’s seems a little unfair in my opinion." Further joining the crowd calling out the show for casting professionals, a fan wrote: "And like why are trained dancers allowed on the show? It’s legit not a fair competition to the people who never have danced before. F*ck that Charli and her cold foam #DWTS." Another fan added how her skill would help her stay on top of the board every week: "Also having Charli D'Amelio on the show truly isn't fair (but I love watching her). Her skill level is so far beyond everyone else. She will always be at the top of the leader board. #dwts."

Some fans also couldn't help but notice Charli paying zero attention to her mom (also a participant on the show) perform: "Is Charli just ignoring her mom and making a Tik Tok? #dwts." Another fan added how distracting it was to see Charli while Heidi D’Amelio was on stage: "Charli making faces behind her mom is distracting #DWTS."
