'DWTS' Season 31: Viewers call out 'RHONJ' fans for defending Teresa's performance, calls it a 'mess'

'DWTS' and 'RHONJ' fans clash over Teresa's performance as she delivers another stiff performance on Week 2

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Teresa Giudice performs the Jive with her partner Pasha Pashkov during Elvis Night. 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' fans defended her performance after the judges' harsh comments, while 'Dancing With The Stars' viewers thought it was a complete mess.

Teresa performs a dance in honor of her father in Week 2 of Season 31 of 'Dancing With The Stars.' According to judge Len Goodman, "it was bright, and it was lively, the problem was there were too many faults in your leg action." Len went on to say that her kicks were not precise enough. Despite the boos, Teresa improved on her previous week's score. Teresa knew her father was an Elvis fan, so she gave it her best during this week's dance. However, Twitter remains divided as 'RHONJ' and 'DWTS' fans clash over her score.

Judge Derek Hough enjoyed her freshness, but there wasn't a lot of bounce and there were some missteps, but she found her rhythm near the end. Judge Bruno Tonioli said she grasped the essence of the dance and went all out. Her timing is something she has to work on. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba saw her dedication to improving her performance, although she was a touch heavy-handed. In the end, she received a respectable 25 out of 40, which did not sit well with Team Teresa on social media.

Viewers call her performance 'a mess' wrote on Twitter: "Teresa Giudice is a mess. If she survives this week I'll be shocked. #DWTS." Seeing how the judges upped their scores from previous week, a viewer tweeted: "I wonder if the judges regret having Teresa stay and they're trying to cover their as*es #dwts." Another viewer wrote how they loved Teresa's behind the scenes efforts more than her actual performance: "Teresa’s performance this week was cute but not particularly compelling, it was just a tiny bit boring and maybe just too sweet. I loved her bts video reel and hope she can bring that out onto the stage in the future! #dwts."

Some 'DWTS' viewers also feel Teresa is cruising through the elimination because of her 'RHONJ' popularity: "people will 100% come at me for this but just because you watch RHONJ does not mean you need to vote for teresa. she’s not a good dancer, she might’ve improved 5% from last week but she IS NOT GOOD. i’m sorry. attack me if you want but len was right for roasting her lol #dwts." Another viewer added how Teresa might end up in the bottom two: "I think it will be between Cheryl and Teresa for the Bottom 2 so far. Vinny brought it this week, still had issues but a lot better for sure #DWTS." One fan also added how Teresa's performance lacked 'rhythm': "Teresa doesn’t have any rhythm lol #DWTS31." Further calling her performance 'rough,' a viewer added: "#DWTS31 Let’s see if Vinny improves, but Teresa still looks a bit rough. We’ll see if someone does worse." Some fans also didn't like Teresa sharing her sob story on stage, as they write: "Nobday cares that you cried Teresa. Especially not the judges. #DWTS31."

Despite the harsh critics, Teresa fans seemed to have her back all along. A fan tweeted: "This was definitely an improvement from Teresa and Pasha! You can tell she enjoyed this dance much more. Her expression was much better this week, too! Once she works on being lighter on her feet and getting that timing right, she’ll be so great! #DWTS." Praising Teresa for being a non dancer but still doing the Jive, another fan wrote: "Teresa improved this week which is all that matters! Most of the people on this cast have no prior experience so it’s impressive regardless of how they score! #DWTS." Some fans also called out the judges for being so harsh with their comments on Teresa's performance: "If you want to see ItalianXphobia in action look no further than the #DWTS judging panel after Teresa Guidice’s number." Another fan backed it by adding: "She improved so much I am surprised how hard the judges were on her. She has no dance experience! #DWTS."
