For Suni Lee performing on 'Dancing With The Stars' hasn't been as much of an issue as expressing herself on the dance floor. As a gymnast, she was expected to keep her emotions in check. She even explained that smiling during her athletic routine was seen as a sign of weakness. But now, she's learning to open up, slowly but surely.

Last week, Suni Lee performed the Jive to 'Stay' by The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber, along with her partner, Sasha Farber. This week, she danced the Cha Cha to 'I Like It' by Cardi B, Bad Bunny & J Balvin. The judges were glad to see her open up with this week's performance and even encouraged her to explore her emotions and bring them to the dance floor.

Len Goodman was all praises for her performance. Bruno Tonioli advised her that she should try to make up a character and then play the part, seeing that she truly shines when she smiles. On the other hand, Derek Hough felt as though this week's performance gave them a glimpse of 'Sassy Suni' and he was excited for what was to come. Even Carrie Ann Inaba encouraged her to stay on this path as she believed she say Lee became herself through this performance and come out of her shell.

Although Lee is still working on her expressions, her form is truly in a league of its own, seeing that she stunned fans and the judges with an impressive split. However, fans were annoyed that she didn't score higher as she bagged consistent 7s, leading to a score of 28 and a grand total of 56. This puts her in third place behind Mel C, who is second and Amanda Kloots and JoJo Siwa, who are tied in at first.

"I can't believe Suni only got 7's. Just the difficulty level alone should have been 8's. #DWTS" argued a fan. "Suni getting 7s when she's absolutely on another level compared to some of the other stars…  #dwts" agreed another. "Suni is a force of nature…" tweeted a fan, with Lee's legendary flip.
