'DWTS' Season 30: Martin Kove eliminated, fans say he was 'doing amazing for his age'

'Cobra Kai' star Martin Kove became the first contestant to be eliminated as the competition heats up on 'DWTS'

Season 30 of 'Dancing With The Stars' is back with a bang in its second episode. The season premiere saw some interesting and exciting performances from the celebs with the competition heating up.

Among them was 'Karate Kid' actor Martin Kove with partner Britt Stewart. Last week the duo came together for a performance of Paso Doble but failed to impress as they secured the lowest score of 13 out of 30. This week saw them do the ChaCha to “Twist & Shout” by The Isley Brothers. Unfortunately, the second performance also failed to leave a mark with the duo getting the lowest grand total of 28. Here's what fans thoughts of the routine.

Following up last week's disappointing performance, Kove failed to bring his A-game with a forgettable performance once again. The judges found the performance unexciting and with a unanimously low vote gave him a low score of 15. Adding to last week's votes brought this to a grand total of 28. During the elimination, we saw him and Christine Chiu in danger due to fan votes. The decision was up to the judges who chose to save Chiu. This saw the end of Kove's 'Dancing With the Stars' journey. Although unfortunate there was no way around it. Here' how fans reacted to his elimination.

One fan was sad and said, "@ralphmacchio Hi Ralph I'm sorry Martin Kove got eliminated from DWTS I'm so sad for him He was the only reason I watched this season I hoped he would go as far as you We will miss him so much" . Another commented, "Martin Kove is a sore loser. Not understanding how or why ABC added him to the DWTS line-up. He is dreadful. Gave him a vote of 3 for tonight's show. He was also my pick to be axed". Another viewer said, "I like Martin Kove in Cobra Kai but he needs more rhythm #DWTS30". 

Another fan said," It honestly bums me out how hard they are on @MartinKove. He is fun to watch and trying his best! #DWTS". Another viewer said ," YESSS MARTIN!! GIVE US NOTHING!". A fan also said," They got 74y/o @MartinKove on #DWTS and the fact they ignore this when he’s probably the OLDEST contestant ever on the show is crazy. He’s doing AMAZING for his age" .
