When it comes to a 'big family', the Derricos certainly fit the bill. Karen and Deon have 14 children together, and it turns out, they don't plan on stopping anytime soon, as they celebrate every pregnancy as a blessing.

However, after Karen's third consecutive miscarriage, there is undoubtedly a lot of concern regarding her physical and mental health.

For Karen, dealing with her third consecutive miscarriage has not been easy, seeing that it is also her 7th one in total. She was extremely apprehensive about seeing a therapist, as she believed that unless the therapist had gone threw her situation, there was no way she would know what was going through her mind. However, Karen also acknowledged that each miscarriage left her feeling empty and that the only way to feel whole again was by getting pregnant. As she sat down with her therapist, she revisited the past and spoke about her first miscarriage, where she explained that she balled up and wanted 'to die' after it had happened. She didn't open up to GG or Deon about it, and this was the first time she had told anyone or said it out loud. She believed that God would let her know when it was time for her to stop having kids; however, the therapist also noted that her getting pregnant repeatedly could be due to the trauma of her miscarriages. Fans were glad she was getting the help she needed and hoped that Karen and Deon would take a step back when it came to having more kids.

"#doublingdownwiththederricos Time to stop trying. I had in vitro then my son was born premature. I said no more. Not fair to your family- way too stressful. You can't put your life on hold." tweeted a fan. "Well at least Deon is prioritizing Karen's health over having anymore babies. That's a first. #DoublingDownWithTheDerricos #TLC" added a fan. "#doublingdownwiththederricos #TheDerricos It kind of seems Karen may be addicted to being pregnant" tweeted a fan. "i know i give Deon and Karen a lot of grief for wanting more babies, but these kids are really happy and well cared for. Kudos to them. #DoublingDownWithTheDERRICOs" noted another.
