'Doubling Down With the Derricos': GG and Deon argue over Karen's 15th pregnancy

While Deon sees it as a blessing, GG thinks they need to focus on their other kids instead

Taking care of kids can be quite a handful. Taking care of 14 children -- that's more of a herculean task. But it is part of their reality for Karen and Deon Derrico. Season 3 of 'Doubling Down With The Derricos' has the family facing quite a few challenges, from GG health to them figuring out their big move. And at the centre of it all is some exciting news, Karen is pregnant again!

Deon and Karen were thrilled at the news of baby no 15 and even told the kids, who were just as excited to have another sibling. However, the actual task was telling GG, and it turns out, things did not go according to plan.

When Deon finally came around to telling GG about Karen's pregnancy, she was not thrilled. Deon immediately got defensive about the situation. However, GG made it clear that she did not think this was a good idea and even mentioned that it was essential to care for all 14 of his kids first before making additions. Deon argued that he saw this as a blessing; however, for GG, it was more important that all her grandchildren got what they deserved and making new additions could mean that one of them might miss out on certain things as there were just too many kids to handle. When Deon tried to imply that she should take care of Karen the way they do her, GG noted that she did not ask them to 'pamper her' and suggested that Deon get his 'ass home' instead of arguing with her. Fans were on the same page as GG. 

"GG is not happy with the baby news! #TheDerricos @TLC" tweeted a fan. "#TheDerricos WOW!!!!! GG went off. And they just don't understand its too many. And if you didn't need help,why you got Eric and at times GG?!" added another. "When he said "a baby is a blessing and not a curse" please stop, no one is saying that…having 14 kids is a lot already adding more kids is going to be even harder but what do I know? #TheDerricos" noted a fan. "That's right gg tell him get his ass out your house you grown you don't have to like Karen is pregnant again #TheDerricos" said a fan. 

But turns out, GG wasn't the only one who wasn't over the moon about the news. Karen has been stalling and has not told her own mother yet, and even joked that she'd tell her when she has the baby in her arms. Fans understood why neither grandmother would be excited at the news. "So Karen's mom isn't happy about all those kids either huh? They're trying to put it all on GG. They have valid reasons for concern. #TheDerricos" tweeted a fan. "#TheDerricos Lord!! The grandmothers are OVER the baby news! I can't wait to see Karen's side of the family next week." said a fan. 

Season 3 of 'Doubling Down With the Derricos' airs on TLC on Tuesdays at 10 pm ET.
