'1000-lb Best Friends': Jakie lashes out at Meghan for helping Vannessa move

No one knows what a person is going through until you walk a mile in their shoes. However, no matter how difficult a situation may seem, it always helps when you have a good support system. For Vannessa and Meghan on '1000-lb Best Friends', they've been each other's support system for decades. This means they've helped each other make some pretty tough but essential choices.

One of these choices now comes in the form of Meghan helping Vannessa finally get her own place and move out of her sister Jakie's house. This transition was not easy, but it was much needed, as Jakie enables Vannessa's unhealthy lifestyle.

Vannessa and Jakie have always been together, so for Vannessa to leave her sister almost left like she was abandoning her, even though she was just moving out. However, Vannessa realized that she had to do this, seeing that Jakie wanted her to stay big. She discouraged her from getting surgery and even kept throwing her off her diet. For the sake of her own health and her kids, Vannessa knew it was time to move out. However, Jakie seems to be under the impression that Meghan is taking Vannessa away from her and blames her entirely. The two even argued as Meghan helped Vannessa move, with Jakie screaming at her for tearing them apart. Meghan told Jakie that if Vannessa continued like this, she would die, but Jakie insisted that Vannessa leaving her is what would ruin her instead. 

Fans were glad Vannessa could do what was right for her and called out Jakie on her behaviour. "@vannessaonekbf good for you getting your own place. #1000lbBestFriends" tweeted a fan. "i understand where Jakie is coming from, i really do, but vannessa needs to get away from things that trigger her addiction, and Jakie has not been of any help with that. it's not like she's moving to another state, please don't hate meghan or vannessa #1000lbBestFriends" agreed another. "I know we're making jokes tonight but I still want to thank everyone working on #1000LbBestFriends and @TLC I'm dealing with my own weight issues and so often these shows are "look at the sad fats who can't get out of bed" and it's refreshing to just see friends being human." tweeted a fan.
