PASADENA, TEXAS: 'American Idol' Season 22 star Nick Connors captivated the judges, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan, with his exceptional vocals, securing the coveted Golden Ticket.
During the week 3 of the ABC singing competition, Nick took the centre stage to deliver a stunning performance on Adele's song 'Easy On Me'.
After the performance, Luke praised Nick and noted, "I think you may be leaning on falsetto a little much but I really think there's a lot od interesting stuff you have going on in there."
Katy was also in awe with Nick's performance and complimented, "I think you are young. I think you're one of our best vocalists." She added, "It is a competition so you definately have to have that passion. I think you've got a god given talent."
The ABC show judge further noted, "I think if you found your fighting spirit, if you put your passion to the test and got a little bit competitive and just really trusted your talent you could go to the Top 24 this year." Lionel shared, "You got a natural sound that's called your sound and boy, did I love it. I just love your voice and things are coming for you."

'American Idol' Season 22 star Nick Connors expressed his excitement after clinching the Golden Ticket to Hollywood. He told the cameras, "I want to get to where I've always wanted to be and I think I'm on my way." Nick also shared a series of social media posts from his ausitions.
Meanwhile, the viewers were also left impressed with Nick and praised the contestant. An X user posted, "That's got to be one of the worst episodes of American Idol I've ever watched in my life. Luke Bryan claims Nick Connors needs voice coaching
Nick Connors managed to advance to the Hollywood week but 'American Idol' Season 22 judge Luke Bryan suggested that he could sing much better if he would get voice coaching. Luke told Nick, "Yeah You've got some real magic sauce going in there."
He elaborated, "I think we kind of coach you through, you got a really good things going in your favor."
The ABC show judges added, "You're a great singer. Just get smart with it." Katy Perry agreed with Luke and said, "You are beyond belief. Now you just need to knwo how to fight."
