'American Idol' Season 22: Who is Nick Connors? 'AGT' star is inspired by Adele's superpower
PASADENA, TEXAS: Nick Connors, 21, is a famed singer and songwriter. After appearing in 'America's Got Talent' Season 14, the Pasadena native is all set to impress the judges with his melodious voice on 'American Idol' Season 22.
Nick became viral on social media at a very young age. When everybody was investing their time in playing basketball, Nick was singing songs at the top of his lungs. He used to perform the national anthem for various sports teams around Houston.
Nick is no stranger to fame. He has nearly 650,000 followers and more than 3 million likes on TikTok as well as 98k followers on Instagram. He recently released his new single 'Sayin' Too Much'. Apart from this, he has also produced several other original works.
He says in his bio that he "utilizes his rare vocal talent to harness the superpowers of his biggest influences." He is influenced by Adele, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, and Chris Stapleton.
"Connors aims to bring an appreciation for raw talent back into the mainstream, and leave fans with pure inspiration, confidence, and belonging; all the things that his idols have left behind for him," says his bio.
Why was Nick Connors eliminated from 'AGT' Season 14?
The reason behind Nick's elimination was not unveiled in the show. Nick made his appearance in 'America's Got Talent' Season 14 in 2019.
Back then, the singer was just 17 years old. He was eliminated in the Judge Cuts after singing 'Ain't Nobody' by Chaka Khan.
Nick Connors has collaborated with fellow 'American Idol' Season 22 contestant
Ahead of appearing in the show, Nick was seen collaborating with 'The Singing Barber' Noah Peters.
Nick wrote in an Instagram post, "Wasn’t planning on trying to sing this one but @theesingingbarber asked if I could so."
From signing together in the barber's shop to coming together in the 'American Idol', Noah and Nick have had an interesting journey, to say the least.

Will Nick Connors get a ticket to Hollywood in 'American Idol' Season 22?
Nick uploaded a short video, informing his fans that he will be appearing in the upcoming episode of 'American Idol' Season 22.
In the video, he is seen saying, "I would like to make a great impact on the world with music."
Lionel Richie says to Nick, "Boy, I love you." He then jumped in excitement, making fans believe that he may have bagged a ticket to Hollywood.
