The sci-fi series, created by Blake Crouch, is based on his 2016 novel of the same name. It introduces us to Jason Dessen (Joel Edgerton), a Physics professor, who is mysteriously abducted in Episode 1.
As the narrative unfolds, we discover that his other self from an alternate reality, desperate to claim Jason's happy life, kidnapped him and transported him to the other reality.
