CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: Troubles don't seem to end for Jason Dessen (Joel Edgerton) in Apple TV+'s 'Dark Matter'. The sci-fi series revolves around Jason, a physics professor, who is abducted by his alternate self and sent to a parallel reality.
He now struggles to return to his original reality to reunite with his family and stop his other self from causing further harm.

He acts dumb, suggesting that he lost memory of certain parts of his life and thus gathered information about what Jason 2 was trying to achieve in Velocity.
Everything seems to be going well until Leighton discovers through Ryan (Jimmi Simpson) that Jason is lying about his identity. He is captured again and is interrogated about how he switched between realities.
On the other hand, Jason 2 continues to have a comfortable life with Daniela (Jennifer Connelly) and Charlie (Oakes Fegley).
