'DWTS' Janet Jackson Night: Melora Hardin gets a perfect score, fans say she 'SLAYED'

Melora Hardin advances to the semifinals after being saved by the judges' votes on Janet Jackson Night

It's Monday night once more but this time tensions ran high on 'Dancing With The Stars' with the threat of a double-elimination dangled before the performers. It was Janet Jackson Night which saw some incredible showcases by the contestants who proved their mettle and hung on.

Actress Melora Hardin continues to impress alongside her partner Artem Chigvintsev and put on a banger of a show for Queen Night as well, earning herself a total of 38 out of 40.  Janet Jackson Night saw the duo dancing the Paso Doble to 'If'. But that's not all, they also had to do a dance-off to secure their place in the competition. Here's how the judges and fans reacted to her dance.

Rehearsal saw Melora and Artem get into an argument as tension ran high. Melor said she was physically exhausted with the upcoming double elimination already causing her stress. Adding to this was Artem's impatience and worry which caused the fight. Even though they fought, the duo made up quickly after voicing their thoughts. Coming to her performance, Judge Len asked, "What just happened?" and went on to praise her saying the dance had, attack, aggression and that he loved it. He scored her a 10. Judge Derek said she absolutely slayed it calling her amazing. Judge Carrie Ann unabashedly said that Melora was kicking the balls of the competition and called her amazing. Judge Bruno didn't hold back and said, "Talk about the queen of mean", calling her performance ferocious. He went on to add that she captured the artistry of Paso Doble and called it perfect. All three of them gave her a 10 which made for a total of a perfect score of 40 out of 40.

For the dance-off challenge, she was faced off against Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach. The two had to do the Foxtrot to 'Again' which was judged by Derek Hough. Both did really well but after calling Melora's dance magnificent, elegant, and beautiful she was awarded his 2 bonus points which gave her a high score of 42.

She survived elimination after being saved by the judges' votes and will be seen in the semifinals. Fna absolutely adored the dance as well and took to Twitter to express the same. Here's what they said.

One of the viewers commented, "Melora freaking SLAYED that!! #DWTS". A tweet read, "Melora!!!! That spin!!!!! That dance!!! #DWTS". One of the fans said, "MELORA should win this dumpster fire of a show #DWTS"  

Another one of the tweets read, "Melora deserves to be in the competition. Shes 54 and killing it #DWTS". A viewer said, "Melora is going to win. She hasn't had a bad dance. #DWTS". Another fan commented, " Melora 1000% deserves to go to the semi-final #DWTS".
