Coldplay X BTS: Chris Martin adds 'Butter' to playlist, Taehyung's 'go-to' song is rock band's 'Daddy'
Coldplay's Chris Martin is smitten by South Korean Grammy-nominated music group BTS and ARMY is living for the friendship. In the latest edition of the two legendary bands showing appreciation for one another, Coldplay's Chris Martin shared BTS 'Butter' is a 'wonderful' track, also adding it to his Spotify playlist.
In another recent interview, BTS Taehyung shared his love for the song 'Daddy' but this won't be the first time that BTS V is expressing how much he likes the song. When Coldplay's 'Daddy' first came out in 2019, on Weverse Taeatae gushed loving the track. A fan posted, "A new song of Coldplay sunbaenim (senior) who our Taehyungie respects came out! Are you listening to it?" To which 'Sweet Night' crooner had said, "I listened to it as soon as it came out, Daddy is such a good song!"

'Helpful and wonderful'
Coldplay's Chris Martin took it to Twitter on May 26 to share some of the things recently that have brought joy to the 'Yellow' crooner calling them "helpful and wonderful". The list featured, 'Materna Requiem - 6. Paradisum Interlude', a piece by Rebecca Dale, the Fourth episode/movie from 'Small Axe' called 'Alex Wheatle', BTS 'Butter; and more. Later BTS ARMY also noticed that the 44-year-old Grammy-winning singer has added the track to his Spotify playlist.

Under the post where Chris Martin shared his love for 'Butter', BTS ARMY added screenshots of BTS' recent interview with 'Bustle' where the interviewer asked, "What’s your current go-to song that you immediately put on when someone hands you the AUX cord?" to which 'Winter Bear' V replied, 'Daddy.'

BTS X Coldplay collab?
The rumors about a collaboration between Coldplay and BTS are still circulating. Previously, Chris Martin visited South Korea and has been quite secretive about his activities in BTS' home country. This has made fans speculate that a collaboration might be coming their way. From the recent Rolling Stone Interview of the Billboard Hot 100 topper group, ARMY has got to know that it was BTS V who suggested the iconic 'Fix You' cover of Coldplay for their MTV 'Unplugged' stage. With so much love being exchanged, ARMY is eager to know when the collab is dropping.
