SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: The unconventional plot of the Netflix series 'Chicken Nugget' delves into the concept of parental love and the extreme measures parents will take for their children, offering heartwarming moments along the way.

The show follows a father, Choi Seon-man (Ryu Seung-ryong), who is determined to find a way to transform his daughter, Choi Min-ah (Kim Yoo-jung), back into a human after she transforms into a chicken nugget.

It was evident from the beginning of the series that Go Baek-joong (Ahn Jae-hong) harbored a serious infatuation with Min-ah. His enduring crush is highlighted by the fact that he continues to wait for her return even after fifty years have passed.

Following the departure of the Min-ah nugget with the alien Baekjung (Kim Tae-hoon), Seon-man and Baek-joong move on to live separately.

Seon-man, who is committed to living a long and healthy life for at least 106 years to meet his beloved daughter, moves to the woods.

On the other hand, Baek-joong, now 78, is a successful music artist who is still waiting for Min-ah's return.

Baek-joong was shocked to learn, after decades of waiting, that Baekjung was unable to change the nugget into Min-ah as he needed to recharge the machine for one more day, which would have meant an additional 50 years on Earth.

The sudden revelation left Baek-joon heartbroken. However, Baekjung offers him the opportunity to go back in time, but there is a cost. Returning to the past will cause him and all other humans to lose their memories.

Feeling uncertain about his next steps, Baek-joong decides to meet with Seo-man to continue the discussion. Tragically, just as he anticipates reuniting with his daughter, Seo-man passes away.

Left with no choice, Baek-joong decides to click the button that would take him back in time, and he is transported to the same day as Min-ah transforms into a chicken nugget.

Baek-joong and Seo-man, oblivious to their forthcoming predicament due to a lack of remembrance, welcome her warmly.

'Chicken Nugget' is now streaming on Netflix
