SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: Forget everything you thought you knew about K-dramas. 'Chicken Nugget', a whirlwind of laughter and mystery, explodes onto Netflix this March 15th. Based on the wildly popular Naver webtoon, this series throws a quirky curveball at the genre.

Choi Min-ah (played by the captivating Kim Yoo-jung) is an ordinary young woman on the cusp of something extraordinary. Curiosity, a character flaw with hilarious consequences, leads her to a mysterious purple machine.

One fateful peek later, Min-ah's life takes a truly clucking turn. She emerges from the machine not in a ball gown but transformed into a single, crispy chicken nugget.

Episode 3 of 'Chicken Nugget' brings Go Baek-joong's ex-girlfriend, a food specialist, who helps identify the Min-ah nugget by scent. Choi Seon-man tries to make a machine, while Baek-joong considers becoming a nugget himself to find Min-ah.

Episode 3 of 'Chicken Nugget' serves up a chaotic mix of hope, confusion, and a dash of past romance. The frantic search for a way to reverse Min-ah's transformation takes a surprising turn with the arrival of Hongcha, Baek-joong's ex-girlfriend (played by a surprise guest star!).

In a moment of panic, Seon-man accidentally throws the chicken nuggets containing Min-ah into the air. Adding to the worry, a piece of nugget is snatched up by a young girl who eats it. Just as despair threatens to engulf them, a mysterious figure appears - Hongcha.

Baek revealed to Seon-man that Hongcha and he used to date each other three years ago. Hongcha started asking Baek many questions about his personal life after their breakup.

After lots of chit-chatting and knowing that Hongcha is a food specialist they both started urging her to help them in knowing the difference between Chicken Nuggets.

Examining the remaining nuggets, Hongcha identifies one with a distinct mint-chocolate aroma. This revelation brings a wave of relief to Baek-joong, who knows Min-ah's love for the flavor.

With a glimmer of hope, Seon-man throws himself into rebuilding something that will keep Min-ah Nugget safe. However, a new complication arises. Baek-joong, driven by a mix of loyalty and guilt, expresses a shocking desire.

He wants to enter the machine himself, transforming into a nugget to be with Min-ah and potentially solve the mystery from the inside.

The episode cleverly balances humor and suspense. The initial chaos with the scattered nuggets and Hongcha's initial disbelief create hilarious moments. However, the underlying urgency of Min-ah's predicament and Baek-joong's selfless offer add a layer of emotional depth.

Meanwhile, a lurking threat emerges. The episode hints at a potential danger brewing somewhere in the city. Could this be connected to Professor Yoo's disappearance and the machine's origins?

With Seon-man focused on rebuilding the device, Baek-joong determined to join Min-ah, and a mysterious danger looming, 'Chicken Nugget' leaves viewers on the edge of their seats. Will Seon-man succeed in bringing his daughter back?

'Chicken Nugget' is available for streaming on Netflix
