On the latest episode of 'Celebrity IOU,' Halle Berry gives back to her mentor of 40 years. The actress collaborated with Property Brothers' Jonathan and Drew Scott to remodel her fifth-grade teacher, Yvonne's, 1920s house.

Berry also opened up about Yvonne's long-lasting influence on her life. Berry's life would have been quite different if the teacher hadn't come into her life, she reveals in the episode, which airs Monday, June 6. Berry regarded her as a second mother in many respects. Yvonne was there for her as she grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, according to the 'Catwoman' star.

Berry's mother worked a lot because she was a single mom. As the actress recalls, she and her sister were latchkey kids. Berry was taken by Yvonne under her wing in a way. Her mother was white, and Yvonne, as a Black lady, taught her about her culture. She adds that they had this thing called cookie talks. She'd go to Yvonne's place, and they'd sit at the kitchen table and have long, in-depth chats.

Berry puts her demolition abilities to the test with the aid of Drew and Jonathan in exclusive footage. Drew opens the scene by asking the actor if she is aggressive or competitive. "Very. That's why I do those movies. Yes, aggressive. Yes, competitive," she answers by kicking a kitchen cabinet door down. "I am competitive if somebody says, 'Show me how you can beat the crap out of something.' I want to be the best," she continues during a confessional.

Berry's abilities astound the HGTV stars as they work together to dismantle the kitchen. According to Drew, Halle took all of her action-packed roles and applied them to this demolition, and she kicked this home in the butt. Nevertheless, Jonathan continues to tease Berry regarding one of her most memorable sequences in 2002's 'Die Another Day.' "Normally, when I do demolition, I walk in slow motion, like in your Bond scene where you walk out of the ocean," Jonathan quips. "But, you need a bikini for that though," Berry answers, and Jonathan adds, "I can change."

Howie Mandel, Snoop Dogg, Anthony Anderson, Lisa Kudrow, Tiffany Haddish, and John C Reilly have all appeared on this season of 'Celebrity IOU.' Drew spoke to PEOPLE in April about what makes the show so unique. "When we're revealing the space, and you see them with their friend. It's almost like you're seeing them 20 years ago," Drew stated. "They're just being real people, and you see that emotional connection. You can't help but cry because it's so touching to see these celebrities in such a personal space." The Season 4 finale of 'Celebrity IOU' airs Monday at 9 pm ET/PT on HGTV.
