'Catfish' fans we have bad news. The Nev Schulman and Kamie Crawford hosted show won't be airing on October 21. After a very exciting episode last week featuring Brooklyn and her catfish Clara and Rio, the show is going on a week's break and won't be returning soon.

This is the second time that the show is skipping a week in between episodes, the last absence being on September 30 when MTV aired the 'South Park: The Pandemic Special' leaving 'Catfish' fans disappointed. The show does follow the same pattern for each episode but that has never resulted in fans being bored out of their minds from watching the same thing over and over. If anything, each episode does manage to have a jaw-dropping moment or multiple such moments and fans come back week after week to watch and educate themselves about the different ways people can find themselves heartbroken after they fall for fake identities over the Internet.

This season has already seen a number of cases, each different from each other, some even outright dangerous. For instance, Ryan and Micah's episode that brought to light a very ugly side of online dating. A man posing as Micah had matched with Ryan on Tinder. He then sent across Micah's nudes with the face to Ryan and also asked and received the money in return for the same, $496 dollars to be precise. When Nev and Schulman finally understood it's a case of catfish and finally caught hold of the man, he revealed that the photos were collected from Micah's OnlyFans and that he did it to teach a lesson to both Micah (for uploading nudes on the Internet) and Ryan (for falling for b***hes on the Internet and paying for the same). Later on, Kamie took him to task and stood up for all women that are in touch with their sexuality

This season of 'Catfish' has been more interesting than the previous ones and it's going to be tough for audiences who are expecting a new episode tonight (Oct 21) and won't be able to find it airing on the network. Instead, the CMT music awards, a ceremony honoring country music videos and television performances will air, starting at 8 pm ET. As to when will 'Catfish' return, audiences can tune in next week on October 27 for a new episode.

'Catfish' airs Wednesdays at 8 pm ET only on MTV.
