BTS' 'Permission to Dance' on ARMY Day: 'Butter' CD special track title leaked

The predecessor of 'Permission to Dance', the official summer tune 'Butter' has already become the biggest hit of Bangtan Boys

BTS is not leaving top spots on the music charts anytime soon. After their three consecutive weeks of Billboard Hot 100 topping 'Butter's success, BTS is ready to bring another summer hit 'Permission to Dance' on July 9 aka ARMY Day which will be their additional track in 'Butter' CD. Reportedly, the song title which was to remain a surprise got accidentally leaked by Universal Japan Music.

BTS had been celebrating BTS Festa 2021, the Grammy-nominated group's eighth anniversary with an elaborate schedule that concluded with a two days special BTS Muster concert featuring a world tour version. The surprise track announcement dropped right after BTS Muster SOWOOZOO wrapped up in a fun segment called BTS 'Breaking News' Where BTS members Namjoon, Jin and Jimin presented the ARMY Day plans.

BTS' 'Permission to Dance', the surprise track will be released at 1 pm KST on July 9 (12 am ET on July 9).

Concept

BTS ARMY discovered the surprise track's name from various sites where it was leaked. The fandom, known for their superior investigative skills, also found out the theme of the song. A fan said, "So I just googled the phrase Permission to Dance and I found this book...”The Life Changing Guide to Releasing Self-Criticism, Letting Go of Unrealistic Comparisons and Experiencing the Power of Self-Love”...could this have been a Namjoon read?" referring to the book written by Gayla Maxwell. Another fan opined, "Permission to Dance sounds so hot but because it's BTS i don't even want to guess the concept I'm tired of being a clown!"

'Another bop coming'

The exciting track name has already got BTS ARMY hyped for the new track as they try to guess if the 'Butter' concept teasers had something to do with 'Permission to Dance.' A fan said, "Just hearing the title ‘Permission to dance’ is already giving me bop vibe!" An ARMY noted, "So the new track is “Permission to Dance”????? ANOTHER BOP IS COMING ON JULY 9! WHAT IF THIS CONCEPT DURING BUTTER WHICH DROPPED AND DOESN'T MATCH WITH IT IS ACTALLY FOR PFD????" Another ARMY chimed in saying, "OMG WAIT SO THE CONCEPT CLIPS FOR BUTTER WERE NOT MATCHING AT ALL.... I MEAN WHAT IF THOSE CONCEPT CLIPS WERE ACTUALLY FOR "PERMISSION TO DANCE"???? I'M MALFUNCTIONING!"
