PTD on Stage: BTS open tickets for Las Vegas show on Ticketmaster, fans say ‘not again’
Infamous for ticket scalping, the website Ticketmaster has not had a good history with BTS fans aka ARMY. On February 23, BTS announced a new leg for their 2021-2022 Permission to Dance on Stage Concerts (PTD on Stage Tour) after the success of their original SoFi stadium concerts. Back in December of 2021, BTS had announced that they would take a three-month break from all activities and come back to meet fans in March of 2022 as they hold a three-day concert in Seoul, South Korea.
Now as fans were gearing up for the upcoming concerts, BTS announced a new leg of their PTD on Stage concert, this time in Las Vegas of all places. BTS members who bagged their second Grammy Award nomination this year are gearing up to attend the ceremony that is slated to take place in April of 2022. Following the ceremony, members of BTS will meet fans from Las Vegas for the first time in more than two years with ‘BTS Permission to Dance on Stage - Las Vegas’ Tour that will be held on four days in April, this year.

BTS announce PTD on Stage in Las Vegas
HYBE announced that the upcoming BTS concert in Seoul will not be their final concert in the PTD on Stage concert series. The group revealed last week that they will hold a three-day concert in Seoul, South Korea on March 10, 12, and 13 with a Worldwide Live Viewing in Cinemas globally on March 12. As fans gear up to join BTS’ Seoul concert from all around the world, the group has announced a new leg of the concert which will be held on April 8, 9, 15, and 16 in Las Vegas, US at the Allegiant stadium.
The tickets for BTS’ Las Vegas concerts will soon be opened for sale but pre-registration has already started as of February 23 on BTS’ Weverse page with an ARMY membership as well as on the American ticketing website, Ticketmaster.com. The latter is triggering for BTS fans who have had a rough history with the website where fans claimed that all tickets for BTS’ November-December SoFi stadium were sold to scalpers while genuine fans of the group were denied tickets.
ARMYs worried about BTS PTD on Stage in Las Vegas tickets
Fans now trend ‘Ticketmaster’ on Twitter as they discuss how the upcoming Allegiant stadium concerts will end up having the same problem on the Ticketmaster website where ARMYs will be denied tickets due to the immense ticket scalping that takes place on Ticketmaster. One fan said, "I suffered so much from last Nov concert. I don’t want to imagine this upcoming ticket sales with Ticketmaster." Another fan said, "Y'all it's Ticketmaster all over again."

Some fans also pointed out that after the issue during the SoFi stadium concerts last year, HYBE themselves issued a disclaimer for fans stating that they purchase the tickets using their ARMY membership from Weverse instead of relying on Ticketmaster alone. About this one fan said, "BH saw the mess that was the sales for PTD-LA and said not again Ticketmaster not again." One fan warned, "Y'ALL BETTER NOT ENCOURAGE SCALPERS AGAIN." Another fan said, "Not at all happy seeing u again."
