It's always enjoyable for fans to witness BTS members be a part of international events as fans of the boy group outside South Korea are usually left unfed when it comes to content. Over the years, BTS has always been performing as a group when they are abroad but it feels like things are changing. On June 8 it was announced that BTS' rapper and sunshine - J-Hope (Jung Hoseok) will be headlining an international music festival in the USA.

This will be J-Hope's first international solo gig but the rapper is not new to the international scene. Back in 2019, BTS' Hobi was in the states as he collaborated with singer Becky G for his solo single, 'Chicken Noodle Soup'. J-Hope is returning to the US for the first time as a solo artist in three years and this time, the rapper will be attending the Lollapalooza Music Festival in Chicago, one of the biggest music festivals in the country.

This makes J-Hope the first-ever Korean solo artist to perform as a headliner on the main stage of the music festival. The event is extremely special for fans of BTS as J-Hope was named on the headliner list along with the likes of the internationally famous band Green Day as well as soloists like Charli XCX and rapper The Kid Laroi.
