Brave Girls get first US tour 11 years after debut, fans cheer: 'Deserved'
After years of struggles, Brave Girls are finally getting their time to shine. While they debuted in 2011, they were overshadowed by other popular girl groups like miss A, Wonder Girls, Sistar and 2NE1 at that time. It took them 10 years when they were on the verge of disbanding to finally get the recognition they deserved. Their 2017 song ‘Rollin’ suddenly shot to fame, thanks to a popular Korean YouTube channel and it saw a chart reversal as Brave Girls suddenly started topping charts with their old song in 2021.
The group went on to prove that Brave Girls was not just a one-hit-wonder as their comebacks after the chart reversal were equally received with much pomp by the general public. ‘Chi Mat Ba Ram’ was an instant hit and so was their 2022 single ‘Thank You’. They also got a chance to work with the likes of Rain, Monsta X, and Ateez for a Pepsi campaign and were selected as one of the competitors for the fierce survival show ‘Queendom 2’. And now, it has been announced that Brave Girls will be going on their first-ever US tour.

Brave Girls to tour in the US
Back in December 2021, it was announced that Brave Girls would be getting their first solo concert and lightstick. It has been a long time in the making as K-pop groups usually get to have their solo concerts and lightsticks in their rookie years. But better late than never as Brave Girls will also finally get a chance to go on their first tour in the US. On May 4, it was reported that the girl group would be on ‘Brave Girls 1st US Tour’ from July onwards.
Brave Girls will be starting their US tour in Philadelphia on July 9. They will have nine stops across the country and end the tour in Los Angeles on July 23. There is a lot of excitement as the girl group had been received positively by the American audience in November 2021 over a digital fashion show where they wore the traditional Korean 'hanbok' outfit which was displayed at the Times Square in New York.
