Golden Globes 2021: Sacha Baron Cohen thanks 'fresh new talent' Rudy Giuliani for 'Borat Subsequent Moviefilm' win
The 78th Golden Globe Awards kicked off with much fanfare on Sunday, February 28, with comedians Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosting the ceremony from two different locations, marking the first bi-coastal event in the history of the awards show.
Fey hosted the ceremony from New York City's Rainbow Room while Poehler was present at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. All eyes were on the Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy category and the winner was 'Borat Subsequent Moviefilm'. The other nominations for the category included: ''Hamilton', 'Music', 'Palm Springs' and 'The Prom'. Sacha Baron Cohen's film became the second sequel to win this category, following 'Toy Story 2' (1999).

'Happy 'Music' was shutout'
Many were happy that Sia's controversial 'Music' didn't make it. "I’m happy for Borat Subsequent moviefilm and I’m pleased Music was shutout. #GoldenGlobes," said a fan. "I can sleep easy tonight knowing that $!@'s Music film lost both of the Golden Globes it was somehow and unfortunately nominated for. I don't know much about I Care a Lot or Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, but I'm sure they're both infinitely superior films by comparison," said another.
