LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: During an episode of the 'Not Skinny But Not Fat' podcast, Lisa Vanderpump discussed Ariana Madix's potential departure from 'Vanderpump Rules' and shared her insights on the matter.
With Season 12 of the series currently on hold, Lisa recently reminisced about Ariana's journey in Season 11. She reflected on Ariana's choice not to communicate Tom Sandoval and discussed the cast's reactions to this decision.
In the episode, the Bravo star expressed admiration for Ariana potentially leaving the show. “I think it would be brave of her because she’s been a cast member a long time and your pay goes up exponentially the longer you stay on a show,” she said.
Lisa pointed out that if Ariana secures a job in musical theater, she could thrive outside of 'Vanderpump Rules,' despite the challenges of finding such a position. “She’s coming back [to Broadway]. I don’t know [if I’ll make it]. I’d like to see her, though,” she further added.

Despite rumors suggesting that Ariana is upset with Lisa for supporting Tom Sandoval, Lisa has refuted these claims by clarifying that she is not actually on Team Tom. The controversy sparked when it was revealed that Tom Sandoval had been unfaithful to his girlfriend, Ariana Madix, by cheating with their co-star, Rachel Leviss.
Regarding the infamous cheating scandal, Lisa made it clear that she does not support Tom and firmly stands with Team Vanderpump.
“No, I’m definitely not on Team Tom. I’m on Team Vanderpump. I’m on Team Mediator. I was disgusted by the whole thing, I just, the whole thing felt very grubby. But when Tom was really struggling … I was like, ‘This is too much,’” she said.
Lisa also disagreed with Lala Kent and Scheana Shay, who expressed disapproval of Ariana's decision not to communicate with Sandoval during the finale. Lisa felt Ariana needed to stand her ground and prioritize her feelings in the situation.
“Would you want to have the conversation? They felt, for the show, they put everything out there, and they felt if she can live in the same house, it felt like, ‘Come on, you can’t keep saying, I’m not talking to you.’ People want to know how you feel. [But] listen, it’s up to them to make decisions. This show isn’t produced," she continued.

During the same episode, Lisa Vanderpump also discussed Lala Kent's potential exit from the show, offering insights and perspectives on Lala's decision to nearly quit. The reality TV personality convinced Lala not to leave the Bravo show by reminding her of her potential and refusing to let her walk away from it.
“Lala, she was another one that was gonna walk away. I was like, ‘You get back here.’ A lot of potential. She was gonna walk away from it, I’m like, ‘No, I’m not letting you do that,’” Lisa shared.
